Leave a gift in your will
Leave a legacy and make a long lasting difference for many years to come.
Why include a gift to Harlington Hospice in your will?
Leaving a gift in your will is a very special way to support a cause that you feel passionately about.
Our Hospice relies on the amazing and generous support of our local community. Over the years, some of our supporters have chosen to leave us a gift in their will. They do so because they share our Vision where everyone living with serious or terminal illness is treated as an individual and supported to live with their illness in a positive way.
Their gift has allowed us to be able to continue to provide individualised care and support for people with serious or terminal illness to live their lives to their fullest.
If you share our Vision and would like to remember us in your will, know that you will be giving us the wonderful gift of being able to continue our services but also to make decisions about the future. Decisions that will positively impact our local community and future generations.
Types of gifts
There are different ways in which you can leave a gift.
- A Residuary Gift - Once your family has been cared for and any debts and expenses have been paid, you may consider leaving part of your estate to Harlington Hospice e.g. 1% of the residue of your estate.
- A Pecuniary Gift - A fixed gift of money e.g. £10,000.
- A Specific Gift - This can be anything from clothing, furniture to a piece of jewellery.
Charitable gifts in wills are not subject to inheritance tax, so you can be assured that any gift you make to Harlington Hospice would be realised in full.
If you would like to talk to a member of our Fundraising Team about how you can leave a gift in your will please call us on 020 8106 9222 or email fundraising@harlingtonhospice.org. Please also let us know if you have left us a gift so that we can personally thank you for your commitment and support.
Why we need your support
As a charity only part funded by the NHS, every year we need to raise £2.4 million in voluntary income. It is only with the kindness of our supporters that we can be alongside our vibrant Hillingdon community at their time of need.Â
We know how important it is that people living alongside serious or terminal illness can access support that’s shaped around them, when and where they need it. Your donations allow us to keep our Hospice running every day, as well as go above and beyond for people experiencing the most vulnerable moments in their lives.
