Wellbeing support
Wellbeing is an individualised feeling. It includes the physical, mental and emotional aspects of each person. Wellbeing is strongly linked to happiness and life satisfaction.
After a serious of terminal diagnosis, it is common and normal for overall feelings of wellbeing to decline. Hospice wellbeing services and support can be of value at this time.

Wellbeing
We offer Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy to people living with a serious or terminal illness. So they can continue doing the activities they enjoy, improve their mobility, and maintain their independence.Â

Our small and dedicated Rehabilitation Team consists of a Physiotherapist, an Occupational Therapist, and Therapy Assistant. They support people through one to one sessions in person and in small groups, depending on each individual’s needs.Â

In one to one sessions our team works with people to develop self-management strategies. These focus on maintaining independence, managing symptoms – like anxiety, breathlessness, and fatigue – and coping more easily with everyday activities. Each person is supported to find alternative ways of continuing to do the activities that are important to them.
