Respite care

Respite care is available to support families and carers looking after people with complex needs. While carers provide a huge amount of care willingly to support those they care for they do sometimes need a little time out.

Respite care

Time out might be spent on attending an activity, doing necessary tasks or just to have time to yourself. Respite care like this can help carers re-energise themselves so they can continue to provide care.

Respite care can either be provided at home for short periods where a person is unable to leave the home or for up to a full day in the Reg Hopkins Centre (transport and meals provided).

If your family might benefit from this care please contact Julie Tomkins or Chris West on 020 8759 0453
